Join with us for a “Write here–right now” journaling experience–a chance to Write Where It Hurts in a safe and intimate setting within the walls of our Facebeook group, Hope for the Hurting Woman.
Each week, I {Jo Ann Fore} post a writing prompt. You, and others in the group, will have the opportunity to write through the prompt right on the wall of our private group. I’m sure the prompt {and your writing through it} will trigger some additional writing but we want you to at least start here, sharing with us in this safe place. We also want you to engage with the other ladies who are courageous enough to be vulnerable and share. This is our chance to connect heart-to-heart and allow God to stir some powerful healing and inspiration.
Co-moderator Lisa Easterling joins us each week with a devotional thought, or additional resources to piggy-back on that week’s writing prompt.
I can’t wait to get started. Won’t you join us? {It’s all free!} You will need to come join our private Facebook group, Hope for the Hurting Woman because that’s where all the activity happens. {Just click on the Facebook group link to get started!}
Hi Jo Ann. I am so glad that my hurt and pain led me to you. I did a google search for “writing when it hurts,” and you came up. I suffer from depression and to heal, I journal. I decided to write a book but some family members are upset with me and the way I view and have experienced things. Now I feel like ending it all. I feel that God led me to the place of transparency and healing, but now this anxiety is stressing me out. I also suffer from heart disease, and I am trying real hard not to let others opinions effect me. I am so glad to find you because I believe you understand. I would love to hear from you.
Florence,
I’m so sorry I’m just seeing this post. Our site has been down sporadically for the past two weeks. I can only pray that our loving Father has brought you comfort in a way much better than any of my words would have. I can only pray that even now you can feel His very presence around you, reminding you you are valuable, loved, important, and needed.
I pray you find a safe place where truth can permeate any false thoughts, a place where you can start to truly heal.
Thank you for sharing. Know that I care, and that I am praying.
